{Stars Wars Lego Party} …

I’ve always shared my boys birthday parties so I thought I’d share some pics from Big A’s 6’s birthday – a Star Wars Lego themed party that took place last month.

What a challenging party this was for me! Only 3 months in a new country and without having my usual go to party spots and favorite baker to turn to! –
But after much scouring, I managed to find and make all that I wanted to. It was a difficult day, our first birthday, without our family and close friends but thankfully It was still a very special day for our precious boy! .

We hired a lovely entertainer that brought along loads of legos and themed some party games & lego games around the Star Wars theme. –

I managed to make very simple no sew Jedi costumes for the kids and made light sabers too using pool noodles. It’s safe to say, especially for the boys, that the highlight of the party, was “fighting” and popping all the bubbles from the bubble machine with the light sabers! .

It was a party of firsts, besides being our first Australian Party it was the first time I attempted a birthday cake, first time I made a balloon garland and my first grazing table. –

It’s crazy to think in about 6 weeks or so it will be Little A’s turn! Can’t believe he’s almost 4! .
